THE PHOTO ABOVE IS FROM WHEN EMILIE FIRST ENTERED THE SPONSORSHIP PROGRAM IN 2016. SHE WAS FOUR YEARS OLD AT THE TIME. NOW SHE IS THIRTEEN. SHE HAS BEEN GOING TO SCHOOL ALL THIS TIME AND HAS MADE IT ALL THE WAY TO THE SIXTH GRADE. SHE RECENTLY LOST HER SPONSOR AND MUST GET A NEW ONE IN ORDER TO CONTINUE SCHOOL. SHE LOOKS FORWARD TO GOING TO THE HIGH SCHOOL NEXT YEAR, BUT IF SHE DOESN’T GET A SPONSOR, SHE WILL HAVE TO DROP OUT UNTIL SHE CAN BE SPONSORED AGAIN.

Emilie is a adventurous four year old who loves to color! She has two other sisters that live at home with her mom and dad. Her parents both work very hard on their farm. After the drought, it has become very difficult to provide for their family. She likes to help her mom in the kitchen and play in the water while she washes dishes.

The child may or may not have promoted to the next grade by the 2022-2023 school year. Final exams had not been taken when the update was made.
