Jimmy is eight years old. His birthday is February 19th. He lives in Galette Chambon with this mom and dad and two sisters and one brother. All of them are in different schools. His mother is unemployed right now but she is taking English classes to improve her chances of finding work in the meantime. His father is a farmer but has not had much work this year. Jimmy goes to Pastor Joel’s school, but this year his parents have not been able to afford to pay for tuition and books. Jimmy loves to go to VBS at Hope Center and he loves to play with a toy he makes out of a stick with a plastic bottle and an old bicycle tire. His favorite subject is mathematics and he wants to one day own his own bicycle repair shop.
