Mykerflie is a bundle of joy! Her smile is so contagious, she could make a cloudy day bright again! She lives in Gwo Balance with her brother and parents. They have had a hard time finding jobs, so the are striving to keep their small family fed. Luckily Mykerflie will get to eat everyday at her new school! She loves to play with her friends and sing her favorite creole children’s songs!

Mykerflie was sponsored from 2016 to 2021 when her parents decided to leave the village to try to find work. They worked as share croppers on a farm near Croix des Bouquet, but when their village was hit by a vicious gang, they decided to move back to Galette Chambon where they had family. It has been a struggle, but they have been able to work as share croppers again in the village and support their family somewhat.
