Chilove is a bright ten year old from the small community of Kadas near Galette Chambon. She lives with her parents and two sisters. Her parents do not have a reliable source of income. There are no schools anywhere near where they live and Chilove has desperately wanted to go to school for years. She knows that she has the ability to learn and make money one day to support her family, but she just has no access or financial resources to access an education. She had heard of BGM Schools in Galette Chambon and that we not only have a school but we also have a professional school. So she asked her parents if they would allow her to take the long daily walk to Galette Chambon to attend BGM Schools. She asked friends about sponsorship and they told her how to get admitted into the program, so she went to Hope Center to talk to Joel about how to get a sponsor. Now she prays daily that she will get a sponsor so that she can begin her educational journey. She loves to play with friends, study her friends’ books, and going to church with her family. We do the best we can to give accurate updates, but there are cultural constraints that we cannot avoid. Also, these measurements were made in March of 2022. The child may or may not have promoted to the next grade by the 2022-2023 school year. Final exams had not been taken when the update was made.
