Manchyse is a very smart and hard working young lady. She lives in the village of Plasman near Galette Chambon with her mother and four sisters. Her mother does not have a steady source of income, so they depend on her grandparents for support. Her grandfather is a farmer and he does not make much money. Manchyse is the only one in her family right now who has been able to go to school. She is so proud that she has passed the sixth grade and is getting ready to go to the BGM High School. She is hoping that she can get a sponsor so that her other sisters will be able to go to school one day too. Her favorite subject in school is mathematics, and she loves to help her mother around the house and hang out with her friends. Manchyse wants to be a nurse when she grows up.
