NELCHARLES is twenty-two years old and he is thrilled to be in the 12th grade at BGM High School. All his life he has had to take turns with siblings going to school, so he is very far behind. However, that doesn’t make him want to give up. In one more year, he will be a graduate from BGM High School, and he is so very proud. Nelcharles lives with his parents, three sisters, and three brothers in the village of Galette Chambon. His parents are farmers who make some money, but it is not enough to afford to pay tuition for their children to go to school. They paid for his registration, but they can’t afford to finish paying his tuition. He needs a sponsor in order to continue. When Nelcharles is not in school, he enjoys listening to music. His favorite subject in school is Social Science, and when he grows up, he wants to become a police officer.
