Chela Dorle is an hard working eleven year old girl who lives in Gros Balancè. She has seven siblings, five sister and two brothers. Her parents work hard every day. Her mother is a vender at the local market and her father works tirelessly to try and grow a new crop in the drought. She likes to help her family by cleaning the house and making sure that all of the chores are done. In school she loves learning about different languages, especially French and Creole. After school each day she goes to work at a local restaurant. She can help to raise money for her family! She loves Haiti and the people in her community.
