CHANAICA is a beautiful fourteen year old from the village of Cargo which is a part of Galette Chambon. She lives with her parents and two sisters. Her father is a professor in our BGM High School and her mother stays home because she is frequently sick. Two years ago, her mother came down with what they think may have been COVID and she has not fully recovered. She has difficulty breathing and frequent debilitating headaches. The family’s medical bills have become difficult to manage and they have struggled to pay tuition for their girls. Chanaica has been so excited to finally make it to the high school and she hopes and prays that she gets a sponsor so she doesn’t have to quit. Chanaica loves studying, helping her mother with the house work, and going to church. Her favorite subject in school is Spanish, and when she grows up, she wants to become a nurse.
