Dave Junior is a happy ten year old from the village of Galette Chambon. He lives with his mother and step-father, two sisters, and one brother. His parents try to make a living selling things in the market, but they don’t make enough money to support the family and pay for their school. His two sisters are sponsored and he is very thankful for that, but he also wishes that he was sponsored too. Sometimes they get gifts and letters from their sponsors and he goes with to Hope Center to get their gifts. He is happy for his sisters, but he gets a little sad because he wishes he had someone in the states who prays for him and thinks about him. His favorite thing to do when he is not at school is study, and his favorite subject is Social Sciences. When he grows up, he wants to become a doctor.
