Weednailine is a spunky twelve year old who lives in Galette Chambon with her mother and father who are both farmers. The little money they make goes to feed their family and pay rent on the small piece of land where they have built a mud house with two rooms. She has two older sisters who are both sponsored. Her mother sometimes sells produce in the market to make extra money for their family, but with all of the violence in the country lately, her mother has not been able to sell in market because it is unsafe. Last year Weednailine when to Johel’s school, but this year, her parents have registered her for the new BGM Primary School with her sisters since they are sponsored. She is praying that she will get a sponsor too before tuition is due because she knows her parents cannot pay it. Her favorite subject in school is reading just like her older sister. She is so thankful that her sister taught her to read because she loves to read her Bible with her family. When she grows up she wants to become a professor in school so that she can teach other children how to read and encourage them to read their Bible too. She hopes that she and her older sister can teach school together one day.

The child may or may not have promoted to the next grade by the 2022-2023 school year. Final exams had not been taken when the update was made.
