Fania is a lively eleven year old who lives in Galette Chambon with her father, two sisters, and one brother. Her father is a farmer. He works very hard to provide for his family, but it is never enough now that all three children are in school. Their mother died a few months ago, and her hospital stay during her sickness drained him of all of his savings. Fania’s favorite subject in school is Experimental Science and she wants to be a doctor when she grows up. She enjoys playing with her friends, going to church, studying her lessons, and looking at pictures on people’s telephones. She says that she loves her village very much because it has a hospital that can help people with their health and BGM helps the children go to school. She hopes that one day she can work at the BGM Hospital.
