Sophia is fourteen years old and her birthday is October 21st. She has two brothers and two sisters and she lives in Hope Village of Galette Chambon. Before she moved here, she lived in Delmas where her family lost everything in the earthquake. Now, her mother works at the orphanage, and she takes care of five children, one grandchild, and one nephew by herself.  Sophia loves school and she loves to go to church. She is excited about going to Pastor Johel’s school because she wants to be a teacher one day and she knows she must be educated to do so. Her favorite subject is History.
