JEANSTON is a cheerful six-year-old boy who lives in the village of Galette Chambon with his parents, two sisters, and three brothers. He also has other siblings who are still waiting and hoping for sponsorship opportunities. For many years, Jeanston’s parents have worked as vendors in the local market to provide for their family. Because they could not afford school fees, they often had to take their children with them to the market while they worked.
Recently, Jeanston’s family learned about the sponsorship program through But God Ministries, and they are hopeful that sponsorship will give some of their children the opportunity to attend school. This would not only allow the children to receive an education, but it would also keep them away from the dangers of the market, which has become an increasingly unsafe place for young children.
Jeanston loves playing with his friends and siblings in the village, and he is very excited about the possibility of starting school next year. He especially looks forward to learning how to read and write. Jeanston dreams of becoming a teacher when he grows up so he can help educate and encourage other children in his community. A sponsorship would give him the chance to begin building a brighter future through education.
