CERAMOND is a determined and hardworking 18-year-old who lives in the Galette-Chambon community with his grandmother, two sisters, and two brothers. He is currently enrolled in the ninth grade at But God Ministries High School, embracing the opportunity to continue his education after years away from the classroom.

Ceramond’s life changed dramatically after the tragic loss of his parents in a truck accident while they were transporting goods to market. With no means to continue paying for school, he was forced to stop his education for more than five years and instead work to help support his family. His grandmother, who took in Ceramond and his siblings, works tirelessly as a vendor in the local town square, cooking and selling meals to provide for her grandchildren. Despite her efforts, she struggles to meet their needs and is seeking sponsorship so they can continue their education.

Now back in school, Ceramond is deeply committed to making the most of this second chance. He rises early each day to work in a local garden, helping to provide food and a small income for his family, before preparing for school. His favorite subject is Creole, and he takes pride in his studies.

Ceramond dreams of becoming a professor and hopes one day to teach at But God Ministries High School. Inspired by friends who have pursued their education and become teachers, he is motivated to follow in their footsteps and give back to his community.

Sponsorship would empower Ceramond to continue his education, pursue his dreams, and build a brighter future for himself and his family.
