Her mother is a vendor who struggles desperately to sell things to support her family but over the last few years it has become very difficult. The roads are dangerous and many markets are closed most of the time. She and her children only eat when they are in school and can bring home a small portion of their food they get in school to share with her. Their survival is school, but she cannot afford to pay their tuition. Mialove needs a sponsor so that she can continue to go to school.
