FAILLINE is a comical fourteen year old from the Bazil area near Galette Chambon. She lives with her father, brother, and sister. Her father is a vendor who tries to sell a variety of household goods at market. His wife used to do this while he worked in a local field, but when she died, he decided to continue her business. It has been hard to support his two children on his own. He is thankful for the BGM School because his kids can get a good education and be fed as well. He needs Failline to have a sponsor, however, if she is going to be able to continue school. Failline loves to cook, and she has become the one that cooks meals for the family at home. She is proud of her role of helping her father care for the family. Her favorite subject in school is Creole and when she grows up, she wants to become an entrepreneur and help her father grow the family business.
