Chinchaina is a ten year old who is in the third grade in our BGM Primary School. She lives with her parents, sister, and three brothers. Her parents are farmers who take their produce to market to sell to provide for their family. They make decent money, but not enough to put their children in school. They recognize the need to have their children in school in order to rise above their circumstances of poverty. However, they need sponsors to help them pay tuition. Chinchaina enjoys working around the house when she is not in school. Her favorite subjects are mathematics and Kreyol. When she grows up, she wants to teach Spanish and English.
