Dieunika is a nineteen year old senior in our BGM High School. She lives with her mother, sister, and two brothers in a village called Grovo near Galette Chambon.Her father died of a heart attack while working the family garden. Her mother used to take produce to market to sell after her husband harvested, but they are still recovering from his death and it’s been a hard year. Her brothers do as much as they can with the garden to provide for the family, but the markets have been dangerous and economy hard. It’s been a struggle for the entire family. Dieunika is so close to graduating but she cannot afford to pay tuition anymore and desperately needs a sponsor so that she can finish. Dieunika enjoys studying and helping in the garden and with chores around the house. Her favorite subjects are Spanish and Philosophy. When she grows up, she wants to become a nurse.
