Nikenson is a bright and loving five year old that goes to the BGM preschool, and he is in the K2 class. He comes from an area in the village called Gwo Balanse in Galette Chambon. He lives with his parents and he does not have any siblings yet. His parents are young, and they struggle to make ends meet in an economy that is very difficult. Nikenson’s father used to be a mason, and he helped build houses. However, because of the dangers in the village, there aren’t many houses being built right now. Nikenson’s parents decided that they would start a small business of their own selling auto parts. They are proud to have their own business, but the economy is not good. They were able to send Nikenson to K1 and K2 in school, but they will not be able to pay his tuition to go to school next year unless they have a sponsor. Nikenson enjoys playing with his friends, studying his lessons, and going to church. Nikenson’s favorite subjects in school are writing and math. When he grows up, he would like to become a doctor.
