FRIZTNER is a fun and comical fourteen year old from the area called “Cargo” near Galette Chambon. He lives with his parents and three brothers. His parents are farmers who sell their produce at market. In the past, they have done pretty well, but with the current instability in the country, it has been hard to go to market to sell. This has made it extremely difficult to support the family. The boys have all had to take turns going to school which is why Friztner is a little behind in school. That doesn’t matter to him though. He is just happy that he gets a chance to go to school at all! He knows many young people in the village who cannot. Friztner enjoys studying his lessons, working in the garden with his parents, and playing with friends. His favorite subject in school is mathematics, and when he grows up, he wants to become a cabinet maker!
