Woodnelson is a bright and loving twelve year old from the village of Galette Chambon. He lives with his father, five brothers, and three sisters. His mother died three years ago after becoming septic after a home child birth. His father does not have a reliable source of income, so he has not been able to pay for his children to go to school. All of the children take turns going to school and this year is Woodnelson’s year, but he doesn’t want to have to stop and wait his turn again next year. He wants a sponsor so that he can continue to learn and go to school. Woodnelson enjoys playing with friends, studying lessons, doing homework, and building things.
