Djamesley is a bright ten year old from the village of Galette Chambon who lives with his mother, brother, and two sisters. His father died of Typhoid five years ago. His other siblings are sponsored, but he is not. When he was five he had a sponsor, but he got very sick with Typhoid too and had to leave school to seek medical treatment while his father was seeking treatment too. His mother took a couple of years to save up to send him back to school, so he went last year, but in order to continue, he really needs a sponsor. Djamesley enjoys studying, playing with friends, eating, and doing homework. His favorite subject is Kreyol. When he grows up, he wants to become a teacher.
