Rudebertha is a bright and loving young woman from the village of Dalgros near Galette Chambon. She lives with her mother, four sisters, and two brothers. Her mother works as a teacher in a small local school, but the school where she works is poor, and the teachers there do not get paid much. It certainly isn’t enough to support her family and pay for seven children to go to school. Rudebertha and her twin sister Rudinia try hard to help their mother take care of the home and their younger siblings. They have missed several years of school, so they are behind, but their mother is determined to get her girls back in school so that they can have opportunities that she never had. Rudenia wants to become a nurse one day so that she can work in a clinic near the Haitian/DR border where she can use several languages and help people. Her favorite subjects in school are Creole and Spanish.

The child may or may not have promoted to the next grade by the 2022-2023 school year. Final exams had not been taken when the update was made.
