Taina is a quiet and shy thirteen year old from the village of Bonette who lives with her mother, two sisters, and one brother. She excited about the possibility of going to BGM Primary and working hard to make it to the high school. She is a little behind in school because three years ago she had to quit school because her father died and her mother could no longer afford to pay for her to go to school. A few months ago, they learned that there were some other children in her village that go to a school in Galette Chambon that has a sponsorship program. She realized that if she could get a sponsor, she could start back to school!! This made her very happy because she has wanted to go back to school so badly. She is very smart and enjoys studying mathematics. She enjoys helping her mother work around the house and cleaning the house. When she grows up she would like to become a nurse.

The child may or may not have promoted to the next grade by the 2022-2023 school year. Final exams had not been taken when the update was made.
