Osana is a five year old who lives in Galette Chambon with some aunts and uncles and cousins. Her mother died and her father has never been around. None of her family members know when her birthday is, so for now, we have made today her birthday, September 24, 2011. She is so excited about being able to go to school because all of her cousins go to school and she just never thought she could since she doesn’t have parents. The family members that she lives with cannot afford to pay for it. She said that she wants to learn how to read and write when she goes to school. She loves to play with other kids in the village, and when asked what seh wants to do when she grows up, she simply said that she wants to learn how to read and write.
