ENULSON is a bright 20 year old in our high school who has made it to the 11th grade and is preparing to advance to the 12th grade. Enulson is behind in school because he has had to sit out of school several years in the past. See, in Haiti, when a family can’t afford to send all of their children to school, they pay tuition for ONE of them and the others have to wait their turn. While sitting out, they continue to study their books and the books of their siblings so they don’t get behind. Enulson has managed to keep up in spite of these difficulties and now he is so close to graduating! He lives with his parents in the village of Ti Source above Galette Chambon. It takes about an hour for him and his friends to walk to school every day, but it’s actually his favorite part of the day because he is so thankful to be in school. If he had a sponsor, it would even be better because he would know for sure that he could continue on to graduation. Without a sponsor, he just never knows if he will be able to go from one year to the next. Enulson enjoys working, studying, and going to church with his family. His favorite subject in Social Studies, and when he grows up, he wants to become a teacher.
