Danmaila is a humorous little seven year old from the village of Dalgros near Galette Chambon. She lives with her mother and three brothers. Her father died when she was three years old and her mother struggles to make ends meet by selling items in the market at Ti Source. Her baby brother is not yet old enough to go to school and her older brother goes to Maranatha school. A friend of her mother’s agreed to pay for their school this year, but her mother doesn’t like having to depend on other people who struggle to survive as much as she does to pay for her kids school. If her children can get a sponsorship like so many others in the village, she would be so very relieved and thankful. Danmaila enjoys helping her mother clean the house and her favorite subject is mathematics. When she grows up she wants to become a labor and delivery nurse because she thinks it is a very big miracle when a baby is born and she wants to see miracles every day in her career.!!
