Widson is a lively little six year old that finds his way into every American heart that visits Johel’s school. He loves to play with his friends and he loves school. He lives in Galette Chambon with his parents, two sisters, and three brothers. His father is a share cropper in the gardens surrounding Johel’s school. It is hard work, but Widson is proud of his daddy for working so hard. Widson’s favorite part of school is playing with friends and when he grows up he wants to be a “boss mason” which means he wants to be in charge of construction. When asked what he loves about Haiti, he said that he loves all of the big gardens where people grow food to eat.
