Love Carmelle is sixteen years old and lives in the village of Galette Chambon with her mother, father, and little brother.and sister. She was first sponsored in 2016 when she was 7 years old. She has done very well in school over the years, but she recently lost her sponsor. She cannot continue school unless she has a sponsor, so she needs to find one soon. (The photo above is from the year of her sponsorship. More recent photos are below.) Her father is a leader in the community and is one of the land donors for But God Ministries. His mother used to work as a clay artist making nativity scenes and Christmas ornaments for the BGM Marketplace, but since Hope Center closed, she has not had any source of income. Love Carmell goes to our BGM High School and she loves to hand out with her friends at school. Her favorite subject is French and she wants to be a teacher when she grows up.

Often times, children do not know their age or birthday, and sometimes they measure smaller or larger because of illness. We do the best we can to give accurate updates, but there are cultural constraints that we cannot avoid. Also, these measurements were made in March of 2022.
