Mirline is 5 years old and lives on the hill at Hope Center with her mom, dad, two brothers, and two sisters. She was born a year after the earthquake while her family was living in the tent city in Delmas. She is happy that her family lives at Hope Center now because she loves her house and that she can walk to school with her brothers and sisters. Last year was her first year to go to school in the village and it made her feel very special. BGM used to sponsor 100 children from the village and that is how Mirline got to go to school last year. Now that BGM has started the sponsorship program, Mirline needs a sponsor! She loves school and wants to learn how to do math and grammar like her brothers and sisters. She loves to play with baby dolls and pretend like she is their mommy. She wants to learn to cook like her mom so that she can sell food to people in the village.
